We are pleased to announce that the Report to Parliament on the Collaborative Process on Indian Registration, Band Membership and First Nation Citizenship is now available.
On June 12, 2018, Minister Bennett launched the comprehensive consultations as part of the Collaborative Process on Indian registration, band membership and First Nation citizenship. The attached report fulfills the Government’s obligation to report on the status of the consultations one year after the launch. This Report to Parliament reflects what was heard during the consultation discussions and Minister’s Special Representative Claudette Dumont-Smith’s full report, including her recommendations, has been included as an Annex to the report.
